In a remembered hour, wine colored circles expand around an amber-hued memory.

Spiraling down a tunnel; drifting, darkness, decay.

Expecting not to be rescued; God reached for me, anyway.

  1. Hi Jenny this poem is very deep.
I read it many times and in each time I read , I had a new meaning to this poem.
I like the fact that the poem rhymes and the choice of words are precise.
I also like the content of the poem which I can relate to. There were times in my life that I literally felt this was the end of the road for me and I felt I deserve what I was going through hence I had no expectation of God’s intervention yet He still rescued me in my darkest moment. I called it “the unfailing love” of God.
    Thank you for sharing
    Sending you hugs and ♥️♥️♥️
